Liuying is located in the eastern part of Tainan City, Taiwan Province of China, in the core area of the Chianan Plain, neighboring Chiayi County in the east and Xinying District in the west, and is a typical agricultural township, known as the "Pineapple Township". The name originated from the Qing Dynasty Qianlong period, because the garrison cantonment "Liuying" and named, the history is profound. Pineapple, rice and sugar cane are the main agricultural products in the area, among which Liuying pineapple is famous for its tender flesh and high sweetness, and the Pineapple Cultural Festival is held every summer to attract tourists.
