Liuyang, a county-level city under the administration of Changsha, Hunan Province, is located in the eastern part of Hunan Province, in the northern part of the Luoxiao Mountains, adjacent to Jiangxi Province, and has been known as the "throat of Wu and Chu" since ancient times.
