Located in the east of Liuzhou City, Guangxi, Liudong New District is the key urban sub-center and economic development zone of Liuzhou City, and an important part of the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone of Guangxi. As a national production and urban integration demonstration zone, Liudong New Area is dominated by the automobile industry, gathering well-known enterprises such as SAIC-GM-Wuling and Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile, forming a complete industrial chain of new energy vehicles and parts manufacturing, and is known as "China's new energy automobile industry city". The new area has convenient transportation, with Liuzhou Railway Station, Bailian Airport and other transportation hubs, and a number of highways running through it.
