Located in the southeast of Guizhou Province, China, Liping County is part of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, and is an important ethnic cultural and ecological tourism destination in Guizhou Province. It is famous for its rich Dong cultural heritage, including the Zhaoxing Dong Village, the largest Dong village in China, and the title of the "Hometown of the Great Song of the Dong", which was inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009.
Liping is located at the junction of Qian, Xiang and Gui provinces, with a subtropical humid climate and beautiful natural scenery, including the Bazhou River Scenic Area, Liping National Forest Park and other ecological attractions.
