Linxiang City is located in the northeastern part of Hunan Province, China, under Yueyang City, at the junction of Hunan and Hubei, and on the south bank of the Yangtze River. It has a total area of 1,720 square kilometers and a population of about 500,000 people. The city has a predominantly hilly terrain and a subtropical monsoon humid climate with four distinct seasons. Linxiang has a long history and is one of the birthplaces of the Chu culture. It has natural attractions such as Baiyun Lake and Wujian Mountain, as well as humanistic landscapes such as the Longjiaoshan Yao Ruins. The economy is based on agriculture, minerals and tourism, and is rich in bamboo, tea and lead-zinc ore. The transportation is convenient, with the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, Wuhan-Guangzhou High Speed Railway and Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway running through the whole territory.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
