Located in the northwestern part of Shandong Province, China, Linqing City is subordinate to Liaocheng City, situated at the junction of Lu and Hebei provinces, and is an important node city of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. Linqing has a long history, more than 2,000 years since the establishment of the county in the Western Han Dynasty.
