Located in the central part of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and on the east bank of the Yellow River, Lingwu City is a county-level city under the administration of Yinchuan City, which has been an important node on the Silk Road since ancient times, and has been known as the "Pearl of the South of the River Seas".
