Lijin County is located in the northeastern part of Shandong Province, China, under Dongying City, in the hinterland of the Yellow River Delta, with Laizhou Bay on the Bohai Sea to the east. As an important county at the mouth of the Yellow River, Lijin is known for its agriculture, fishery and energy industries, and is rich in oil and natural gas resources. The area has a long history and is one of the important birthplaces of Qilu culture, preserving cultural heritage such as the ancient city walls of the Song Dynasty.
