Located in the northwestern part of Xing'an League in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, Aershan is a border tourist city famous for its forest ecology and volcanic landscape. As an important ecological barrier in Inner Mongolia, it is known as the "Switzerland of the East" for its pristine forests, volcanic relics, mineral springs and snow and ice resources, as well as its distinctive landscapes in all four seasons.
The whole area of Aershan is covered with forests of the Daxingan Mountains, and there are volcanic geological wonders such as Tianchi, Shitanglin, and Azalea Lake, as well as world-class mineral springs and therapeutic resources.
