Ligang is located in the northern part of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan Province of China, on the banks of the Gaoping River, and is at the junction of the Kaohsiung and Pingtung plains, and is known as the "Banana Kingdom". The banana industry flourished in the early days, leading to economic prosperity, and the area still retains a rich agricultural culture. The centuries-old street "Ligang Old Street" is the core attraction of the district, with a series of mounted buildings, old stores and traditional handicrafts passed down to the present day, where you can feel the time-deposited flavor of Southern Taiwan as you stroll through the streets.
