Libby, the county seat of Lincoln County, is located in northwestern Montana, USA. Nestled in the northern foothills of the Rocky Mountains near the Idaho border, Libby is known for the natural beauty of the Cabinet Mountains and the Kootenai National Forest. With its roots in the late 19th century logging industry, the town of about 2,700 was once an important lumber processing center and still retains a strong forest culture. With a quiet, friendly atmosphere and four distinct seasons, Libby is a ski resort in the winter and an outdoor adventure in the summer, making it an ideal gateway to experience Montana's untouched nature.
