Located in the center of Liaoning Province, Liaoyang is an important node city in the Shenyang Economic Zone, with a history of more than 2,300 years, one of the earliest cities in Northeast China, and known as "the first city in Northeast China". Historically, it was the seat of Liaodong County of Yan, the capital of Liao and Jin Dynasties, and the seat of Tokyo City in the early Qing Dynasty, with deep cultural heritage, such as Liaoyang White Pagoda and Tokyo Mausoleum, which are national cultural heritage units.
