Liangzhou, now the main city of Wuwei, Gansu Province, the ancient name of "Yongzhou" "Guzang", is an important node city on the ancient Silk Road, known as the "capital of the West" reputation. As the frontier of the central dynasty's strategy for the western region, Liangzhou was the center of the cultural, commercial and religious intersection between the east and the west, and witnessed the prosperous scene of "100,000 families in seven miles of Liangzhou". It has nurtured the splendid culture of Heshi, and the monuments such as Hatamaroshi Temple and Leitai Han Tomb (the land of the Horse Treading Swallows) carry heavy historical memories, while the multi-ethnic mingling of folk customs and unique culinary culture add to the charm. Nowadays, Liangzhou still attracts the world's attention with its deep historical heritage and unique Silk Road culture.
