Leshan, located in the southwestern part of Sichuan Province, at the confluence of Min River, Qingyi River and Dadu River, is an important city in Chengdu Plain Economic Zone. Leshan is famous for the "World's First Buddha"-Leshan Buddha, a 71-meter-high stone carving of Maitreya from the Tang Dynasty, which is a double heritage of the world's cultural and natural heritage, sits on the mountain overlooking the Three Rivers, and remains solemn after a thousand years of wind and rain. Leshan, known as "Jiazhou" in ancient times, is not only home to the beautiful Emei Mountain (a World Heritage Site along with the Leshan Giant Buddha), but also to the ancient city of Leshan, the Thousand Buddha Rocks of Jiejiang, and other humanistic landscapes. It is also the birthplace of "Jiazhou Cuisine", an important branch of Sichuan cuisine, with mouth-watering specialties such as pot-boiled chicken, sweet-skinned duck, and tofu brain, which are known as "Food in Sichuan, Taste in Leshan". This city, which combines natural wonders, historical heritage and tongue-tickling delicacies, is attracting tourists from all over the world to explore the beauty of Sichuan.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
