Leishan County, located in the southeast of Guizhou Province, in the hinterland of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, is one of the important birthplaces of the Miao culture, and is regarded as the "Center of China's Miao Culture". It has the world's largest Miao settlement village, Xijiang Thousand Houses Miao Village, where the footstools are built on the mountains and cascade over one another, showing the wisdom and aesthetics of Miao architecture, and attracting countless tourists every year to experience non-heritage cultures such as the Year of the Miao, Miao embroidery, and silver jewelry forging. In addition, the Leigong Mountain National Nature Reserve straddles the county, with over 80% forest coverage, a treasure trove of plant and animal genes, and an average summer temperature of 15°C, making it a resort for summer vacation and recuperation. Leishan is a perfect blend of pristine natural landscapes and rich Miao flavor, making it an ideal place to explore ethnic culture and return to nature.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
