La Caobas, Haiti is a small town in the southeastern part of the Caribbean country of Haiti, located about 80 kilometers southeast of the capital city of Port-au-Prince, and is part of the Sud-Est department. The local agricultural economy is dominated by the production of cocoa, coffee, bananas and other tropical crops, is one of Haiti's important agricultural supply. The hilly terrain around the town is rich in tropical rainforests and the natural environment is relatively pristine, making it suitable for eco-tourism exploration. Despite its small size, Lascaobas retains the traditional look of the Haitian countryside, with a local culture that blends African and French colonial influences, crafts and folk music. Moroni, Comoros is the capital and largest city of the Union of Comoros, located in the western part of the Indian Ocean on the west coast of the island of Grand Comoros.
