Located in the northern part of Luliang City, Shanxi Province, China, on the eastern edge of the Loess Plateau, Lanxian County is a county-level administrative region focusing on agriculture and natural resources. The county has a long history and deep culture, with rich folk traditions and natural landscapes. The economy of Lanxian is based on planting, animal husbandry and small-scale industry, and it is rich in miscellaneous grains and potatoes, and is known as part of the "Grain Warehouse of Shanxi".
