Lanxi County is located in the south-central Heilongjiang Province, southeast of Suihua City, the hinterland of the Songnen Plain, the east bank of the lower reaches of the Hulan River, east of Bayan County, south of Hulan District, west of the city of Zhaodong, Anda City, north of Qinggang County, is one of the important satellite city of the Harbin metropolitan area. The county covers a total area of 2,499 square kilometers, with 4 towns and 10 townships under the jurisdiction of the county, with a total population of about 500,000 people, and the county government is located in the town of Lanxi. Lanxi County has a long history, the twenty-first year of the Qing Guangxu (1895) set up the county, taking the "Hulan Province of the West" meaning the name Lanxi, is Manchu, Hui and other ethnic minorities living in the area. As a traditional agricultural county, producing corn, soybeans, rice and other food crops, enjoying the "China's flax township", "China's Northeast Folk Art Township" reputation, flax planting and processing, folk paper-cutting, the Northeast and other folk culture is unique.
