Lakewood is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States, bordering Lake Erie and located about 12 kilometers west of Cleveland. An important part of the Cleveland metropolitan area, the city covers an area of about 17.3 square kilometers and has a population of about 52,000, making it one of the most densely populated cities in Ohio.
Lakewood is known for its tree-lined streets, historic residential neighborhoods, and vibrant community culture. The city boasts a large number of single-family homes and duplexes built in the early 1900s in a variety of architectural styles. The famous "Golden Mile" residential neighborhood showcases an architectural heritage ranging from Victorian to Arts and Crafts. Lakewood Park and Lakeside Park offer residents an abundance of recreational space, while the downtown area is filled with independent stores, restaurants and art venues.
The city's economy is anchored by the healthcare, education and service sectors, with major employers such as Lakewood Hospital. The education system includes the Lakewood City School District as well as private schools and is close to higher education institutions such as Baldwin Wallace University. São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
