Located in the western part of the Czech Republic, on the banks of the Vltava River, Lahovice is an ancient medieval city known as the "Pearl of Bohemia". The well-preserved Gothic castle at the center of the town was built in the 12th century as an important fortress for the Bohemian royal family, and its towers and walls have witnessed hundreds of years of historical changes. The Old Town is a picturesque place with its winding stone streets, baroque buildings and wooden houses, and a natural moat surrounded by the Vltava River on three sides. It is also the hometown of the writer Franz Kafka, whose literary flavor and quaintness attract tourists to stroll and explore. In the summer, the Medieval Festival, where citizens dress up in traditional costumes and recreate old market scenes, makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. Although not as bustling as Prague, Lahovi is a hidden gem in the Czech Republic that should not be missed for its tranquility and authenticity.
Zeku County is located in the southeastern part of China's Qinghai Province, under the Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, on the northeastern edge of the Tibetan Plateau, with an average elevation of about 3,700 meters above sea level. With a predominantly alpine grassland climate, the region is one of the important pastoral counties in Qinghai, rich in livestock and ecological resources. Zeku boasts unique Tibetan culture and natural landscapes, such as the Shizang Danxia Geopark and religious monasteries, which attract tourists to explore the plateau scenery and humanistic traditions. The economy is dominated by animal husbandry, balanced with ecotourism and clean energy development. Dzeku represents a typical feature of the highland region in western China, blending nature conservation with cultural heritage.
