Kuiwen District is the center of Weifang City, Shandong Province, founded in 1994, named after the building "Kuiwenmen" in the Qing Dynasty. With a total area of about 187 square kilometers and a resident population of about 500,000, the district is the political, economic and cultural core area of Weifang.
It is located in the middle of Shandong Peninsula, with convenient transportation, Jiaoji Railway and Ji-Qing Expressway running through the whole area.
