Majuro, the capital and largest city of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, is located in the west-central Pacific Ocean and consists of 64 coral islands, mainly concentrated in Majuro Atoll. As a political, economic, and cultural center, Majuro is the administrative hub of the Marshall Islands, with a concentration of government agencies, a major port, and an international airport. The city has a tropical climate with an average annual temperature of approximately 27°C. English and Marshallese are the official languages.
