Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, is located in the Kathmandu Valley in the southern foothills of the Himalayas, at an altitude of about 1,350 meters above sea level, and is the political, economic and cultural center of Nepal. The 2,000-year-old city is known as the "City of Temples" and is home to seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Temple (Monkey Temple) and Pas Patina Temple. The narrow streets, ancient wooden buildings and bustling bazaars of the old town are intertwined with Hinduism, Buddhism and traditional Nivar culture, giving rise to unique arts and crafts. An important gateway for trekking and Himalayan exploration, Kathmandu combines religious sanctity with modern vibrancy and is a starting point for exploring Nepal's natural and human charms.
Dongliao County is located in the south-central part of Jilin Province, China, under Liaoyuan City, and is situated in the transition zone between the remnants of the Changbai Mountains and the Songliao Plain, with a total area of about 2,186 square kilometers. The area is predominantly agricultural, producing crops such as corn and rice, while being rich in mineral resources such as coal and limestone. Dongliao County has a long history with cultural heritage from the Goguryeo period and beautiful natural scenery with four distinct seasons, making it suitable for eco-tourism and recreational sightseeing. With convenient transportation and close proximity to major cities such as Changchun and Shenyang, it has high potential for economic development.
