Located in the northern part of Liaoning Province, China, Kangping County is part of Shenyang City, situated in the Liaohe River Basin and adjacent to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, making it an important ecological barrier and agricultural base in Liaoning. It has a total area of about 2,175 square kilometers and a population of about 300,000 people. The county is dominated by plains, with a temperate continental climate and four distinct seasons, producing crops such as corn and rice, and a well-developed animal husbandry industry.
