Located in the northern part of Liaoning Province, China, Kangping County is part of Shenyang City, situated in the Liaohe River Basin and adjacent to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, making it an important ecological barrier and agricultural base in Liaoning. It has a total area of about 2,175 square kilometers and a population of about 300,000 people. The county is dominated by plains, with a temperate continental climate and four distinct seasons, producing crops such as corn and rice, and a well-developed animal husbandry industry.
Kangping is rich in natural resources and history and culture. Wolong Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Liaoning Province, has been listed as a national wetland park and has great potential for ecotourism. The economy is dominated by agriculture and agricultural product processing, with new energy and light industry gradually developed in recent years. The transportation is convenient, only 100 kilometers away from Shenyang, G25 Changshen Expressway passes through the whole territory.
As part of the Shenyang Economic Zone, Kangping is promoting rural revitalization and industrial upgrading, featuring both ecological protection and sustainable development, making it a promising county economy in northern Liaoning.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
