Kampong Sarar, located in Brunei Mora District, about 15 kilometers from the capital city of Bandar Seri Begawan, is one of the typical traditional villages in Brunei. The village retains the characteristics of traditional Brunei water and land settlements, and some houses are still built in the form of stilted houses, demonstrating the local people's way of life in accordance with nature. The village is surrounded by lush greenery, peaceful and quiet, and the residents make a living from fishing, handicrafts and agriculture, living at a leisurely pace. In recent years, with the modernization and development of Brunei, Kampong Salar has gradually integrated infrastructure, such as roads, water and electricity, while focusing on the preservation of traditional culture and regularly organizing traditional festivals to attract tourists to experience Brunei's local culture. This place is both a microcosm of Brunei's rural life and a window to observe how tradition and modernity coexist harmoniously in Brunei.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims.
