Kaiping District is a municipal district of Tangshan City, Hebei Province, located in the southeastern part of Tangshan City, situated in the Jidong Plain, relying on the Yanshan Mountains in the north, facing the Bohai Sea in the south, and about 10 kilometers away from the main urban area of Tangshan City, with a significant location advantage. As an important part of Tangshan, Kaiping has a long history and a strong industrial base, which was once supported by coal and iron and steel industries, and now has formed a diversified industrial system of equipment manufacturing, new materials, modern logistics and so on.
