Located in the western part of China's Zhejiang Province, Kaihua County is part of the city of Quzhou and is situated at the junction of Zhejiang, Anhui and Jiangxi provinces, which is the source area of the Qiantang River. The county is known for its ecological beauty, rich forest resources and biodiversity, and has been recognized as a national ecological demonstration area. With a long history and deep culture, Kaihua is one of the important birthplaces of Jiangnan culture.

Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
