The district is rich in history and culture, with sightseeing spots such as the thousand-year-old Kaifu Temple and the historical and cultural district of Chaozong Street in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republican period, blending traditional and modern urban styles. As the core area of commerce, culture and tourism in Changsha, Kaifu District is situated in the Jinxia Economic Development Zone, the North Xiangjiang Road Financial and Business District and other modern industrial sectors, while relying on the Changsha Port, Changsha North Railway Station and other transportation hubs to form a three-dimensional logistics network by land, water and air.
