Jancheng County, belonging to Heze City, Shandong Province, China, is located in the plains of southwestern Shandong Province, on the north bank of the lower reaches of the Yellow River. With a long history, it is one of the birthplaces of the Chinese nation, where Emperor Shun was born in the ancient times. It has a total area of 1,032 square kilometers and a population of about 900,000 people. Rich in agricultural resources, producing wheat, corn, cotton and other crops, known as "the breadbasket of Ruxi".
