Jixi is located in the southeast of Heilongjiang Province, China, on the border between China and Russia, bordering with Russia's Primorsky Krai, and is an important border port city in Heilongjiang Province and one of the core areas of the "Northeast Asian Economic Circle". As an important coal production base in China, Jixi has been known as the "coal city", rich in mineral resources, industrial base is strong.
In recent years, Jixi has been actively promoting economic transformation, vigorously developing green agriculture, ecological tourism and cross-border trade.
