Located in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China, Jinzhou New District is a state-level economic and technological development zone and an important economic opening frontier in the northeast region. Established in 2010, it was formed by the merger of the former Jinzhou District and Dalian Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of about 1,040 square kilometers with a population of over one million. Relying on the location advantage of Dalian Port, the zone focuses on the development of high-end manufacturing, electronic information, biomedicine and modern service industries, and has attracted investments from many of the world's top 500 companies such as Intel and Pfizer.
Economically, Jinzhou New District is the core area of Liaoning Coastal Economic Belt, with significant GDP contribution and strong industrial agglomeration effect. The infrastructure is perfect, with well-known attractions such as Dalian Jinshitan National Tourist Resort, blending industrial and ecological tourism features. It is rich in education and medical resources, and has convenient transportation, connecting domestic and overseas through high-speed railways, highways and airports. As a demonstration zone of the Northeast Revitalization Strategy, Jinzhou New District continues to promote innovation and openness, contributing to regional economic growth and internationalization.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
