Kinmen County is a county in Taiwan Province, located at the mouth of Xiamen Bay in Fujian Province, across the sea from Xiamen, and is an important window for cross-strait exchanges. Kinmen County consists of the Kinmen Islands, Lieyu, Bold and Ergui islands, with a total area of 151.65 square kilometers. With a long history, Kinmen is one of the birthplaces of Minnan culture and has preserved a large number of traditional Minnan buildings, such as ancient houses and temples.
