Jingbian County is located in the north of Shaanxi Province and the southwest of Yulin City, at the junction of the southern edge of the Mao Wusu Desert and the northern end of the Loess Plateau, and is the core area of energy and chemical industry in northern Shaanxi. It is famous for its spectacular Danxia landforms, and the billions of years of sandstone in the Wave Valley cascade like waves, attracting countless photography enthusiasts; the ruins of Tongwancheng witnessed the rise and fall of the Xiongnu culture, and is the only well-preserved remnant of the Xiongnu capital city in China's history.
