Jinchang City, located in the eastern part of the Hexi Corridor in Gansu Province, China, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Gansu Province and is known as the "Nickel Capital". As China's largest nickel and cobalt production base and platinum group metals refining center, Jinchang is rich in mineral resources and has a prominent industrial status. Located at the northern foot of Qilian Mountains, the city has a temperate continental arid climate with cool summers, making it a summer resort.
