Jimo is located in the north of Qingdao City, Shandong Province, and is a city district of Qingdao, as well as a thousand-year-old town with a history of more than 2,000 years. It was an important city of Qi during the Warring States period, and the ruins of the old city of Jimo bear witness to its deep historical heritage. Today, Jimo is Qingdao's industrial powerhouse and marine economic region, with a strong foundation in industries such as knitted garments and automobile manufacturing, and is known as "China's Famous Knitting City"; relying on the Qingdao Blue Valley, marine science and technology innovation, and marine biopharmaceuticals, and other emerging industries are developing vigorously. Dingjie County is located in the southwestern part of Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region of China, at the northern foothills of the Himalayas, bordering Nepal, with an average altitude of about 4,300 meters. The county boasts unique natural landscapes and cultural heritage, including famous attractions such as Dobzha Lake and Qiangm Grottoes. Tingjie has a highland temperate semi-arid climate, and animal husbandry and barley cultivation are the main industries in the area.
