Located in the northeast of Guangdong Province, China, Jiaoling County is part of the city of Meizhou and is an ecological pearl at the junction of Fujian, Guangdong and Gan provinces. With a total area of 967 square kilometers and a population of about 230,000, the county is characterized by Hakka culture as its core feature, and is the world's longevity township and China's natural oxygen bar.
The county has natural and humanistic landscapes such as Changtan Tourism Zone and Shizhai Tulou, with a forest coverage of nearly 80%, and has been awarded the "Top 100 Deep Breathing Small Cities in China". Intangible cultural heritages such as Hakka dragon houses and Hakka songs show the deep cultural heritage.
With modern agriculture and eco-tourism as the leading industries, the city is rich in specialty agricultural products such as kumquats, honey and green tea, etc. With National Highway 205 and Tianshan Expressway running through the whole area, the city is conveniently accessible, and it is the backyard of eco-tourism in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
