Located in Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province, China, Jianshui is a national historical and cultural city with a history of more than 1,200 years. It is famous for its ancient architecture, purple pottery culture and traditional cuisine, and is known as the "Museum of Ancient Architecture" and the "Zulu of Southern Yunnan".
The ancient city of Jianshui retains the pattern of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and boasts national key cultural relics protection units such as the Zhu Family Garden, the Temple of Literature and the Chaoyang Building. The unique Jianshui Purple Pottery is one of the four famous potteries in China, and its production technique is listed in the national intangible cultural heritage. The Shuanglong Bridge (Seventeen-hole Bridge) and the Tuanshan Folk House Cluster show the exquisite art of ancient architecture.
Jianshui Tofu, Steamboat Chicken and other delicacies are unique and attract a large number of tourists every year. The Mengzi-Baoxiu Railway (inch gauge) is one of the earliest operating railroads in China. The county is about 200 kilometers away from Kunming, which can be reached directly by highway and railroad, making it an important destination for tourists in South Yunnan.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
