Located in the north of Fujian Province in China, Jianou is a county-level city under the administration of Nanping City, located in the upper reaches of the Min River in the Jianxi basin. As one of the earliest ancient counties in Fujian, Jianou has a history of more than 1800 years, and was once the capital of Jianzhou, known as "the ancient capital of Fujian, the capital of eight Fujian".
Jian'ou belongs to the middle subtropical monsoon climate, the forest coverage rate is as high as 79.8%, it is the hometown of bamboo and cone chestnut in China. Specialties Jianou dried bamboo shoots, Beiyuan Tribute Tea, Jianou duck is famous all over the country, among which the oolong tea "Beiyuan Imperial Tea" is the royal tribute in Song Dynasty.
There are historical relics in the city, such as Confucius Temple which was built in Eastern Jin Dynasty and Drum Tower in the Five Dynasties period. The Wanmulin Nature Reserve in the city is known as the "Subtropical Botanical Museum", and the Guizongyan Scenic Spot is famous for its Danxia landforms and cliff stone carvings, making it an important tourist destination in northern Fujian.
Relying on agricultural resources and ecological advantages, Jianou now focuses on the development of green food processing, bamboo and wood processing and eco-tourism industry, and has become an important agricultural and sideline products production and distribution base and an ecological livable city in northern Fujian.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
