Jiangyuan District is located in Baishan City, Jilin Province, China, in the hinterland of the Changbai Mountains, is the birthplace of the Songhua River, the Yalu River, the Hun River, known as "the first county under the Changbai Mountains". The forest coverage here is over 85%, with mineral water, diatomaceous earth and other rich mineral resources, is an important ecological barrier and resource base in Northeast China. Jiangyuan has four distinct seasons, with abundant snow resources in winter and an average temperature of 22℃ in summer, making it an ideal place for summer vacation and leisure. Local specialties include mineral water production, forest ginseng cultivation and eco-tourism. Attractions such as Ganban National Forest Park and General Wang Detai's Tomb attract many tourists. With the opening of the He-Da Expressway and the Shenbai High Speed Railway, Jiangyuan is developing into an important transportation hub and eco-tourism destination in the Changbai Mountain region.
Jiangyuan is part of Baishan City, Jilin Province, and is located in the hinterland of the Changbai Mountains. As the source of the Songhua, Yalu and Hun rivers, it is known as the "Mineral Springs City of China" and the ecological pearl of Northeast China. With an area of 1,348 square kilometers and a population of about 200,000, it has the largest reserves of diatomite and high-quality mineral water resources in Asia. The ecological environment here is superior, Rare wildlife Northeast Tiger, Chinese Autumn Sand Duck inhabits here. The landscape of Jiangyuan is very different in four seasons: spring mountain flowers, cool and pleasant in summer, colorful forests in autumn, and forests and snow plains in winter. The main attractions include the Dry Rice Basin National Forest Park and the Memorial Hall for the Victims of the Tears of Blood Mountain Miners. In recent years, relying on ecological advantages, focusing on the development of mineral water industry, forest specialties and ice and snow tourism, is being built into the Changbai Mountain characteristics of ecological economic demonstration area.
