Jiangning is located in the south of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, one of the eight districts of the main city of Nanjing and an important node of the Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle. With an area of 1,561 square kilometers and a resident population of about 1.95 million, its history can be traced back to the founding of the county in the second year of Taikang of the Western Jin Dynasty (281), and it is known as the land of "six generations of luxury".
As an advanced manufacturing base and science and education center in Nanjing, Jiangning Development Zone has gathered industrial clusters such as smart grid, new energy vehicles, high-end equipment manufacturing, etc. It has more than 20 universities and colleges such as Southeast University and Hohai University. In the region, Niushoushan Cultural Tourism Zone, Tangshan Hot Spring Resort and Gingko Lake Paradise constitute the golden name card of culture and tourism, and the transportation hub of Nanjing South Railway Station is connected to the high-speed railway network of Shanghai, Ningbo and Hangzhou.
Jiangning has been ranked among the top ten of the top 100 industrial districts in China for many consecutive years, and at the same time maintains the title of national ecological zone, presenting a unique development pattern of blending modern industry with mountains, water, cities and forests.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
