Located in the northwest of Sanming City, Fujian Province, at the southeast foot of Wuyi Mountain Range and the middle and lower reaches of Jinxi River, Jiangle County is known as the "Ancient County of Fujian and Yue, Green Jiangle". It was founded in the third year of Yong'an of the Three Kingdoms, Wu (260), and is one of the earliest six ancient counties in Fujian Province. It is rich in historical relics, with such monuments as Yang Shi's hometown in the Song Dynasty and Zhengjue Temple in the Tang Dynasty witnessing a thousand years of cultural lineage. Natural scenery to Yuhua Cave as the core of the national key scenic spots, karst cave wonders "a fan of wind, nine carp lake" and other attractions are famous; Tianji Mountain National Forest Park forest coverage of more than 90%, is a natural oxygen bar. Relying on the Jinxi Ecological Corridor and Yuhua Cave Tourism Circle, Jiangle is building a tourism destination in central Fujian that integrates cultural experience and ecological recuperation.
