Jianggan District is a former municipal district of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, located on the north bank of the Qiantang River, in the core area of Hangzhou, and is one of the traditional political, economic and cultural centers of Hangzhou.In 2021, with the approval of the State Council, Jianggan District merged with the lower part of the district to establish the new Shangcheng District, which is now under the jurisdiction of Shangcheng District in Hangzhou. Historically, Jianggan has been developed because of the Qiantang River, and has been a place where merchants and traders gather since ancient times, with a long tradition of commerce and trade as "the first dock on the Qiantang River". The area is conveniently located near Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, with a well-developed subway and highway network, making it an important transportation node in the Yangtze River Delta. Economically, Jianggan was once dominated by the digital economy, high-end equipment manufacturing, and modern service industry, gathering many corporate headquarters and business buildings. At the same time, this area also carries deep historical and cultural heritage, such as the Qiantang River tide culture, canal culture, etc. It is a key area for the construction of Hangzhou's "Qiantang River Era", witnessing the city's leap from the "West Lake Era" to the "Qiantang River Era". Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy.
