Jiangchuan District, part of Yuxi City in Yunnan Province, is located in the hinterland of central Yunnan and is famous for the southwestern shore of Fuxian Lake. This land is surrounded on three sides by the lake, sitting on China's largest deep-water freshwater lake - Fuxian Lake's 26 kilometers of shoreline, the lake water crystal clear, along the coast of the Nebula Mountain, Lushan Island, forming a "hundred miles of the lake light small dongting" of the picturesque scenery. As one of the birthplaces of ancient Dian culture, Jiangchuan Lijiashan Tomb Group unearthed from the Warring States to the Han Dynasty bronzes, witnessed the Dianchi civilization's bright past, cattle and tigers, such as bronze shelves and other cultural relics known as national treasures. It is also known as the "home of cloud tobacco", with a long history of high-quality tobacco cultivation, which has given birth to a unique farming civilization. Nowadays, Jiangchuan has become a charming destination for leisure and cultural exploration on the Central Yunnan Tourism Circuit, combining the scenery of lakes and mountains, historical heritage and folk customs.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
