Jialing District is located in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, in the northeastern part of the Sichuan Basin and the middle reaches of the Jialing River, and is named for its proximity to the Jialing River. Melsisi is a coastal village and community on Pentecost Island, one of the main islands of the South Pacific island nation of Vanuatu. It is located on the western coast of the island and is one of the administrative and service centers for the western region of the island.
