Jialing District is located in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, in the northeastern part of the Sichuan Basin and the middle reaches of the Jialing River, and is named for its proximity to the Jialing River. Macheta is a small town in the Cundinamarca Department of Colombia, located about 100 kilometers north of the capital city of Bogotá, in the mountainous valley of the Eastern Cordillera of the Andes, at an average altitude of about 2,300 meters, with a mild and pleasant climate. The region has a predominantly agrarian economy, mainly growing alpine crops such as potatoes, corn, and barley, with a certain proportion of animal husbandry as well.
