Jiading District is located in the northwestern part of Shanghai, China, and is one of the five major new cities in Shanghai. As a famous historical and cultural city in the south of the Yangtze River, Jiading was founded in the 10th year of Jiading of the Southern Song Dynasty (1218), with a history of more than 800 years, and is famous for "educating Jiading". It covers an area of 463.55 square kilometers and has a resident population of about 1.7 million.
Jiading District is a perfect blend of traditional and modern elements: the Confucius Temple and Zhouqiao Old Street preserve the architectural style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, while the F1 Shanghai International Circuit and the Shanghai Automobile Museum demonstrate its status as an "international automobile city". It is the core base of China's automobile industry, with a concentration of vehicle and parts companies such as SAIC and Azera. Meanwhile, the Jiading Campus of Shanghai University of Science and Technology and Tongji University form a science and innovation cluster.
Railway line 11 and Hujia Expressway form a convenient transportation network, and it is about 30 minutes' drive from Hongqiao Transportation Hub. The area has ecological spaces such as Yuanxiang Lake and Jiabei Country Park, and has been continuously awarded as a national civilized urban area, forming a new modern city model of "science and technology + ecology + humanity".
New Caledonia is a French overseas dependency in the South Pacific, not an independent country. It is located about 1,200 kilometers east of Australia and consists of several islands, including the main island of Grande Terre and the Loyalty Islands, with Nouméa as its capital. The archipelago is known globally for its unique biodiversity and rich nickel resources.
New Caledonia has the second largest coral reef ecosystem in the world and is a World Heritage Site. The island is dotted with tropical rainforests and mangroves, and has an extremely high proportion of endemic species, such as the iconic kegu thrush. Its geological history dates back to the Paleo-Gondwana period, creating a unique ultramafic landscape.
The population is multicultural, including indigenous Kanaks, Europeans and Asians, and the official language is French. The Kanak culture is characterized by traditional thatched roofs and carvings. The economy is based on nickel mining and tourism, and Nouméa's French architecture and blue coast attract many tourists.
Visitors can experience the spectacle of aerial photography at the heart-shaped mangrove islands, enjoy the white sandy beaches and turquoise sea at Pine Island, or delve into the Aqua Lagoon Nature Reserve to observe the marine life. It is also an ideal destination for scuba diving, hiking and cultural exploration, blending untouched nature with a French resort atmosphere.
