São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Ziemetshausen is a small town in the county of Giecking in the Swabian region of Bavaria, Germany, situated between Augsburg and Ulm, and is known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and idyllic setting. Dating back to the 12th century, the town's old town with its timber-framed houses and St. Wolfgang's Church displays the typical charm of the Bavarian countryside. The area is predominantly agricultural, and the surrounding fields are ideal for experiencing the slower life with their four distinct seasons, from the golden rape blossoms in spring to the waves of wheat in the fall. The traditional market and Oktoberfest in the summer attract visitors to experience the local folk culture. Though small, Zimmerzhausen epitomizes the Bavarian countryside with its tranquility and simplicity, and is suitable for travelers seeking to get away from the hustle and bustle.
