São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in the northern part of Shaanxi Province, north of Yan'an City, in the hinterland of the Loess Plateau, Zicang City is a famous old revolutionary area, named in honor of General Xie Zicang, and known as the "Red Capital Zicang". It has a long history and is one of the important birthplaces of northern Shaanxi culture. The former site of the Wayaobao Conference is located here, which witnessed an important historical moment of the Chinese Revolution. The landscape of Zicang is dominated by the hills and gullies of the Loess Plateau, and the Xiuyan River passes through the city, giving rise to a unique loess flavor. The area is rich in millet, apples and other specialty agricultural products, coal, oil and other energy industries are also more developed. Folk culture is rich and colorful, Shaanxi folk songs, paper-cutting, rice-planting songs and other non-heritage projects inherited to this day, attracting many tourists to come to feel the charm of red culture and loess style.
