São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Zhouzhi County is located in the west of Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, China, in the hinterland of Guanzhong Plain, with the Qinling Mountains to the south and the Wei River to the north. It has a total area of 2,974 square kilometers and a population of about 680,000 people. Zhouzhi has a long history and was called "Shaanxi River bent" in ancient times, named after "the mountain curves into Shaanxi and the water curves into river bent", and is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization.
Zhouzhi is famous for its ecological resources and agriculture, and is known as the "Hometown of Chinese Kiwifruit", with the kiwifruit planting area and output ranking the top in China. There are famous scenic spots such as the Heihe National Forest Park, Louguantai (the birthplace of Taoism) and Xianyou Temple, where natural scenery and humanistic relics are blended. The economy is based on agriculture, tourism and green industry, and in recent years it has actively developed eco-tourism and modern agriculture. The transportation is convenient, with the Lianhuo Expressway and the national highway running through the area, and it is about 80 kilometers away from Xi'an downtown.
